T-Shirt Bag Sewing and Printing 

Participants to brought their T-Shirts to transform into reusable bags. We sewed them into reusable bags and silkscreened and printed them with plastic bag facts! This activity was a point of entry for discussing plastics in the environment. This process of up-cycling demonstrates how reusable bags can replace single use plastic and it also keeps shirts out of the global glut of used clothing, much of which ends up in landfills.
